We’re excited to announce that CI +/- is returning for its 3rd year at La Verne's Village Ballroom (same place as last year, just new name).
From June 8–12, 2026, we’ll gather in Portland for a week of Contact Improvisation, Somatic Exploration, and a culminating evening Performance.
Whether you danced with us last year, heard about it through the grapevine, or are just discovering CI, we’d love for you to join us and be part of this evolving and expansive festival.
Mark your calendars — come be part of five days of classes, jams, and creative discovery. All levels and backgrounds are welcome.

Want to be a Teacher?? We welcome a wide range of perspectives, from first-time facilitators to long-time teachers, and we’re especially interested in representing the diverse identities, interests, and regional CI communities.
Teacher Applications are open until Wednesday March 11th, 2026.

CI +/- brings together Dancers, Movers, and Researchers for a week of embodied exploration. From classic CI to Action Theater, vocal play, somatic inquiry, and much more!
